The Studio

Electronic Arts' Mobile engine team (Osiris) is located at EA’s Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne, Australia. The engine team provides EA with a high-performance mobile platform development engine that is currently used by multiple games, both live and in development.

 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join Osiris.You will work closely with the Osiris engine team Product Owners and key stakeholders in EA’s mobile label, game teams, and central tech teams to drive and validate business strategy and requirements on the engine and help prioritize and translate them into engine features. You must be passionate about, and represent the voice and needs of, our engine customers and partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Osiris engine team Product Owners to conceptualize, specify, and prioritize features and systems that meet the business needs of the engine customers
  • Collaborate with Osiris engine team Product Owners in defining the product roadmap and business strategy based on a deep understanding of the engine functionality, game team needs, and industry trends
  • Work closely with EA’s mobile game teams and central tech teams to capture mobile engine product requirements, understanding their value and impact
  • Identify opportunities and optimizations using a variety of channels including data analytics and competitive research
  • Track and develop expert level understanding of the mobile gaming industry, including developing ability to qualitatively and quantitatively teardown mobile engines and games as they relate to engine needs

 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant Software Product Management or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data driven product design and decision making
  • Experience defining clear technical requirements, user flows and wireframes
  • Experience with structured, hypothesis driven product improvements
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with experience preparing and presenting decks to various stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate both creative and technical feedback to a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Experience working in a fast based agile environment
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
