Business Improvement Manager

Leading a team of business professionals as a consulting practice, the Business Improvement Manager will find continuous improvement solutions for the Optus Wholesale business. You will leverage your experience and methodologies such as Agile to achieve desired outcomes, so this is a great opportunity to utilise your professional skills.

You will also be involved in revenue assurance activities, focussed on preventing revenue leakage on our Product suite. To achieve your outcomes, you will also be influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders within the business.

This role is exciting as you will not only get to lead a group of business specialists, but you and your team will drive User Experience and CX improvement across the Optus Wholesale business

Your ideal experience will have most of the following:
 

  • Proven direct people management skills, ideally of teams consisting of business, technical or operations professionals 
  • Proven financial analytical background with experience deciphering trends from financial data
  • Degree or Tertiary qualification
  • Experience identifying areas of improvement and leading the improvement solution. Background in Agile and/or Lean Six Sigma is advantageous
  • Background in influencing and negotiating outcomes with stakeholders within your business
  • Experience working on CX projects
