Our client, an engineering services firm has developed software that is currently in use with major clients within their industry. The product is an asset management tool that is gaining great traction and feedback in the market as a real solution for the industry.
The Directors are now seeking a skilled and capable Lead Developer to join the team in this exciting time to manage the development team, ensuring that goals meet client needs and to guide the direction and further development of the product. This is a full time ongoing position that is a key role in the business and will provide you with further career enhancement.
Based at their office located in Burleigh, you will have the opportunity to lead the team in a hands on role, developing and delivering a great solution to the market across multiple platforms including desktop, tablet and mobile.
You will need:
- Previous experience as a senior / lead developer
- Tertiary qualifications would be highly desirable
- Proficiency in:
- PHP, MySql, CSS3 and HTML5
- JavaScript and jQuery an advantage
- Custom CMS or Drupal (highly advantageous)
- Atlassian products (eg. Jira, BitBucket, etc) preferred
- Server architecture and configuration
- Leadership/management qualities are a must and the ability to take initiative and set goals
- Strong knowledge of product development cycles
- Passionate about what you do
- High attention to detail
