Frontend developer
CTI is an established niche industry software company with a presence in South Africa, Hong Kong, England and Australia. We provide leading-edge optimization, disruption resolution and visualization solutions to some of the world's most recognisable companies in the transport and logistics industries.
We are looking to recruit experienced C++ coders willing to extend their experience to new frontend technologies such as React/Redux/Websocket/Typescript.
Initial work on frontend technologies will enable you to gain valuable experience outside of the C++ domain.Your C++ experience will remain valuable and utilised when working on our software portfolio.
We are seeking to fill full time senior & mid level positions based in our Melbourne office.
Your tasks will include:
- Collaborating with domain experts, back end and other front-end engineers to successfully integrate and enchance the utility and usability of our optimisers,
- solvers and rule engine with new web frontends.
- Design and implementation of web applications to replace and/or supplement existing thick clients.
- Rapid prototyping of new productivity enhancing use cases.
- Delivery and Support of production grade user interfaces to our existing and future customers.
- Creative input into our technology stack
An appropriate candidate will have the following
- Demonstrable commercial development experience - minimum 4 years.
- An understanding of web application development deployment and architecture
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Have completed a Computer Science/Software Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent degree
CTI's full technology stack includes C++, high performance real time data cache, SQL databases (Oracle, Postgres), a LLVM based JIT rules engine, and actively developed in-house code generation tools. We make extensive use of JIRA, Git/Gitlab, CMake, Jenkins and Ansible. We deploy and support our products on Linux, Windows, iOS and Andriod as appropriate.
