We are seeking an enthusiastic Technical Support Specialist to join our Australian Geobank team. The purpose of the role is to provide the highest quality technical support and customer service to MICROMINE’s clients.
To be successful you must demonstrate the following:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Detailed knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) and experience in SQL Scripting
- Experience in Exploration and Mining Industry (desirable)
- Experience in Information Systems implementation (desirable)
The core responsibilities of this job are as follows:
- Processing and management of technical support enquiries in accordance with defined service level agreements
- Documentation and delivery of solutions to technical support issues
- Setup and management of test systems to facilitate in-depth issue testing
- User and technical training
- Development of technical and training documentation
- Establish relationships with key product stakeholders including product development, product management and product marketing
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and product launches
- Occasional travel to client sites will be required
