We currently have a number of great opportunities for permanent Test Analyst to join our Technology & innovation division

 

Purpose of the role
To perform tests of aaspire and supporting systems by investigating, documenting and testing enhancements and issue fixes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, scenarios, reports and cases that verify solutions meet defined business requirements
  • Review business requirements and technical specification for test planning
  • Analyse results and report test and defect status to stakeholders and project managers
  • Facilitate defect resolution with IT and retesting defects
  • Perform test execution as necessary
  • Establish best testing practice
  • Engage business teams to secure test resources
  • Produce test completion report
  • Manage testing for multiple projects
  • Be pro-active in identifying and implementing improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Integration and execution of manual test suites
  • Take ownership of problems and their resolution
  • Facilitate meetings to ensure that agreed outcomes and actions are produced
  • Perform testing phases as required.
  • Assist with first level Production Support and conducting root cause analysis
  • Investigate & gather requirements for enhancements to the System
  • Problem analysis of issues identified within both the Client System Testing and Production Environments.
  • Write and execute SQL queries
Essential Skills, Capabilities and Experience
  • Knowledge and experience (minimum of 2 years) of all levels and types of testing
  • Strong knowledge in Superannuation products and operations
  • Structured manual testing skills and techniques
  • Excellent communication to all levels of business
  • Ability to influence with a collaborative approach
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Proven testing experience (writing of detailed test plans and test cases)
  • Minimum of 2 yrs superannuation experience
  • Knowledge of the superannuation business. Products such as Corporate, Pension, Defined Benefit and Accumulation Superannuation funds
  • Proven experience working in a large team environment where business interaction is a key aspect
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Pleasant and helpful personality
  • Write and execute SQL queries
