Our client, a leading financial markets and investment management company in the heart of Sydneys CBD, is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team on a contractual basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects they have in the pipeline, including establishing a DevOps practice, building bond pricing tools, and implementing new cloud-based software and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be a passionate technologist who is full of innovative ideas and possess excellent analytical skills, who will be responsible for architecting, prototyping, documenting, building, deploying and maintaining solutions that are secure, complex and cutting edge.

This is a great opportunity for Senior Developers who are looking to take on their next challenge. There are long-term prospects in the role, and they have recently moved to a brand-new office which fully embraces flexible and Activity Based Working. 

Essential Criteria

• Strong experience in designing, building, and delivering solutions using modern web technologies  Angular, Node.js, Express.js, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor etc.
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD and AWS. 
• Strong UI experience. 
• Proven experience in agile environments.
• Demonstrated experience in unit testing.
• Experience in the financial markets and investment management industry, having worked in banking, FinTech or similar, with proven ability to work and communicate directly with the business would be highly regarded.
