Practice Manager- Corporate Systems
Gosford

We’re looking for someone to manage and direct the practice team to deliver solutions that add value to the business. You will coordinate the delivery of strategies with the other leaders within Business Technology to ensure organisational priorities are understood and achieved

With a relevant tertiary qualification, you’ll bring your extensive experience in managing a team of technical specialists with particular focus on Corporate Systems and in managing technical delivery through vendors, partners or via the Technical Specialists within your team.

You’re a strong leader and negotiator and have excellent stakeholder management skills.  You’ll be highly collaborative, have outstanding communication skills and also maintain the highest standards of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same. But on a typical day you might find yourself:

• Leading a team that implements technical solutions that are either SaaS, PaaS or applications hosted on IaaS. Your team are subject matter experts in technology solutions and great trouble-shooters.
• Ensuring a high standard of handover to IT Operations team to support solutions that your practice implements. Work closely with the IT Operations team to ensure that support processes are seamless and accountabilities are clear
• Ensuring system documentation is of a high standard and kept up-to-date
• Leading team members in proactive management of critical incident resolution, problem management and implementing technical changes. Manage the identification, diagnosis and correction of complex technical problems to ensure there is minimal disruption to business activities
• Operating within the overall icare IT Vendor Management framework, managing and measuring vendors, suppliers and hosting providers to deliver services that comply with or exceed agreed service levels.
• Undertaking negotiations with software vendors with regards to licence and maintenance fees and conditions and ensuring icare are fully compliant with licensing requirements
