This company is a complex large enterprise organisation with their tech & digital teams mostly based in Melbourne, and they are in the early stages of a $100million systems integration and transformation program of work. Due to increased project work, they require an additional Java Developer to join the team for a long-term permanent role.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Build middleware and customised API's to integrate a broad range of systems and applications with a core back-end system
• 90% project work, 10% support
• Ongoing learning with new technologies

Key Skills and Experience

• 4-7 years' experience as a software developer
• Java, Spring, Junit, mockito
• Container toolkits (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory)
• Configuration management tools (Ansible), GitHub, Linux/Unix, SQL
• Using and developing web services (RESTful services, SOAP)
• Application containers (Tomcat, Jboss)
• MSSQL, Mongodb
• AWS, CloudFormation, EC2, IAM, S3, AWS CLI
