Technical Account Manager
Purpose
This wholly Australian owned mid-sized Systems Integration and Managed Services Company is undergoing a dynamic and sustained growth phase. We provide our clients with a full suite of services including consulting, professional, managed, field, hosted and cloud services. This senior career focused role has been created to enhance the company’s capabilities in its Melbourne operation.
Duties and Responsibilities
The main duties required for the role are listed below but are not limited to;
- Own the Technical relationship with ATS’s Managed Services Customers
- Scope, design, cost, document and present your solution to the satisfaction of the client and the business and provide technical support from implementation planning through to post sales.
- In this role you will work closely with all stakeholders, internal and external, to develop an understanding of client business requirements, current client technologies and business dynamics. This will enable you to design solutions that leverage best of breed technologies and processes to meet business and commercial requirements.
- The role may require interstate or overseas travel at times.

Qualifications/Experience
- It is essential that you have current, solid and deep technical skills gained from hands-on delivery and support of a broad range of industry standard infrastructure platforms across server, storage, database, networking, virtualisation, cloud and supporting technologies.
- You will have solid and detailed technical design and build experience (not simply administration) in the following technologies at a minimum: Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, Server and Desktop Virtualisation, SAN, Backup, and Networking fundamentals.
- You will be able to leverage this hands-on delivery experience to take full ownership and accountability for the design of detailed and comprehensive integrated solutions.
