Purpose of the role: 
The purpose of the IT Change Management role is to manage the activities of the Link Group IT Change Management process and to minimise the impact of IT Changes on the production environment and day to day business operations.

 

 
Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain IT Change Management processes
  • Provide advice and guidance on IT Change Management policy and process to internal & external stakeholders
  • Review and assess Changes across multiple IT platforms and technologies
  • Identify and prevent adverse impacts that may result from planned changes
  • Work collaboratively with Change Owners to ensure the impacts of Changes to any of the components supporting IT Services are understood and managed to maintain defined service levels
  • Liaise with vendors and 3rd party providers to plan and prepare Changes
  • Develop and maintain an IT Forward Schedule of Change calendar
  • Schedule and facilitate IT Change Advisory Board meetings including chairing meetings when required
  • Facilitate and document change Post Implementation Reviews (PIR’s)
  • Define relevant reporting metrics and produce regular reports

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of network and server infrastructure architecture and components
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expert communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to facilitate and chair meetings
  • Ability to present to professional peers and work closely with all levels of Management
  • Experience in the areas of superannuation or finance is highly desirable
     
Essential Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate (minimum)
  • ITIL Release Control & Validation (preferred)
  • ITIL Operational Support & Analysis (preferred)
