My client is looking for a PHP developer to help implement Magento ecommerce applications, from discovery through launch and maintenance. You will need to install and configure Magento 1 and 2, create custom ecommerce modules using object-oriented PHP and Magento APIs, and implement custom skins.
This role requires an individual who can collaborate effectively with team members, handle a fast-paced environment, and thrive amidst the stress that sometimes comes with agency life. They work on complex, cutting edge ecommerce applications.
Requirements
- Meaningful PHP Web Development experience
- Certified Magento developer credentials strongly preferred, but not required
- Familiarity and experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural patterns
- Strong MySQL skills
- Experience using PHP to create and consume web services (e.g. SOAP, REST)
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of JavaScript
- Good knowledge of CSS and CSS preprocessors
