We're currently seeking a talented Geospatial Team Manager to join our national geospatial team. The successful applicant will work closely with our expanding internal and external client base to deliver unique and innovative spatial solutions.

Our business comprises a multi-disciplinary team of experts specialising in data analysis, desktop and web-based application development, database management, visualisation and business intelligence solutions.

The primary responsibilities and accountabilities of the Team Manager include:

  • Delivery our strategic objectives, capability growth and sales/revenue targets
  • Consistency of standards and procedures, systems and approach
  • Management of resource pipeline forecasting
  • The delivery of projects to our internal and external clients on-time, within budget and to a high technical standard

You will have:

  • 10+ years’ experience working in the spatial/IT industry
  • Tertiary degree in GIS or related field of expertise and demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying best-practice GIS/IT technology and services
  • Well established client and Industry contacts with the ability to develop and maintain close relationships with our internal and external client bases
  • Strong experienced in leading spatial teams (including virtual and remote employees), strategic planning, financial and commercial management, team safety, training, capability development, knowledge transfer and career planning
  • Knowledge and experience of ESRI’s software suite including ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Advanced technical skills across a broad range of areas within the discipline and GIS software
  • Proven track record in business development, marketing, revenue forecasting, resource allocation, work pipeline management
  • Build, manage and lead proposals and pursuits development, seek new business opportunities
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, report writing, proposal development and oral communication skills
  • Recognised industry profile and exposure to industry associations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to think creatively with a focus for innovation and business efficiencies
