FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
FinXL is looking to engage a Scrum Master for business and consulting services for one of our high-profile banking clients for an initial twelve (12) month engagement
As the Scrum master you will:
- Facilitates the Agile process - Runs Iteration Estimation and Elaboration and Planning meetings, Kick-offs, Standups, Retrospectives and Show cases for end of iterations
- Work closely with Delivery Manager and product teams on planning and scoping out of API needs and requirements according to the API roadmap
- Able to coach and mentor teams on scrum whilst guiding them to deliver on their sprint commitments and API roadmap milestones
- Championing the execution of agile practices and scrum ceremonies, act as an agile evangelist and encourage the team to experiment and learn to eliminate waste, and improve their ways of working to attain a state of self-organization and planning.
- Participate in Product Forum sessions with Digital Leadership team to review Team Health, brainstorm and discuss new and innovative ways to problem-solving, and improve team morale, health.
- Working with technical stakeholders (Developers, Development Managers, Head of Technology, DevOps) and offer support to roll out and adopt usage of new technologies and patterns (Micro-services, CI/CD etc.) practices across scrum teams
- Work with Delivery Manager and the team to cultivate a culture of maintaining visibility and transparency on risks, impediments and progress made
- Understand the end to end impact of the work stream on other work streams and minimise disruption
- Facilitate and monitor communication between the team and the Delivery Manager
- Be responsible for completing the iteration status report
Experience and Background required:
- Extensive experience as a Scrum Master
- Banking and Financial Services experience highly regarded
- Delivery background desirable
