PM-Partners group is a specialist Project Management Consultancy.  We have a unique way of running projects and providing training and advice, so our clients get the best results with less cost and risk.  Each year we deliver over $3B of projects, train over 9,500 people, and help some of Australia’s leading brands improve their PMOs. 

PM-Partners is currently seeking a Business Project Manager with a strong background in Process Improvement and Operational Excellence. The successful resource will be required to work across 6 different locations in NSW, where they will work with Operational staff/management to implement Process Improvement projects. They will also be required to take a higher level program/strategic view when necessary, so the ability to work with all levels of an organisation is essential.

To be considered for this position you will have experience and strengths in the following: 

  • Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering successful Business focused projects – Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
  • Lean Six Sigma experience – Ideally a certified Black Belt but this is not mandatory
  • Happy to travel to various locations around NSW – no day/location is completely the same
  • Someone that is ‘hands on’, not overly strategic and is able to take a PDCA approach
  • Manufacturing/Utilities/Resourcing/Transport/Aviation experience – desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, managing multiple/concurrent projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in dealing with Senior Managers as well as Operational Staff
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication styles to accommodate different audiences
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, plan, and execute multiple concurrent activities
  • Excellent time management skills
