About The Role
The successful Project Manager will work within the Local Government division for Civica. This person will be responsible for the successful initiation, execution and finalisation of project plans to deliver products and services to external clients.
The successful person will be willing to travel within Australia and internationally to work on major projects. Furthermore, a valid Australian driver’s license will be required for travelling to rural locations where transport is limited.
Responsibilities
- The PMP will contain completed statements and schedules for:
- Business and Project Objectives,
- Scope – product and services, inclusions and exclusions, in accordance with the client engagement agreements (contract) and standard deployment models,
- Budget and Payment Plan,
- Risk Management Register,
- Project Structure, Role Definition and Communications Plan,
- The timeline of the project, extracted from the Microsoft Project.
- Projects will be planned using Microsoft Project and include full details of tasks, resources, milestones, dependencies, timeframes, and task completion status.
- Projects will be managed to ensure corporate and client expectations are met in relation to regular communication, set timeframes for delivery, minimizing conflicts and identifying risks.
About You
- 5 years’ minimum experience within a project management environment; either working as a project manager and/or project administration
- Project management experience required in working across:
- IT and Software implementations
- Client-vendor relationships
- Desirable: PMBOK and/or Prince2 (and similar) qualification
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
- Ability to negotiate outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
- The discipline to comply with processes and methodology
- Good decision making and problem solving
- Excellent written and oral communication (English)
- Excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail
