About the role:
My client is a leading Australian based software company that has recently grown globally. They are looking for a junior developer to join their team to assist with their current and future development.
As a Junior Web Developer you will be involved in the creation of templates using static and dynamic HTML, CSS and some Javascript, based on supplied designs from our creative team. Depending on your skill set, you may also be asked to assist with the front-end development of the application itself.
More specifically you will:
- Template creation for clients
- Quality control ensuing work checked and is at the level required
- Research and development
- Contribute best practices around projects and provide relevant feedback and training
About you:
The perfect person for this role will have skills using static and dynamic HTML, CSS and some Javascript. You will be a quick thinker, self-aware and a people person. My client is looking for someone who is mature and commercial minded in their approach with the desire to have the successful candidate grow into an integral member of the development team.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience with HTML and CSS and some Javascript
- Understanding of key concepts of modern web development
- Ability to work comfortably in OSX
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Able to work autonomously or within a team
- Desire to learn about emerging technologies
- Ability to manage your time week to week and to communicate concerns on what can be achieved
- A proven history of high attention to detail
