This position is responsible for POS Hardware/Software within the Hospitality/Retail sector. The role is looking after the service & repair of POS Systems in the hospitality / Retail sector throughout Queensland, Northern Territory & surrounding Islands. This role does require working after hours & weekends at times.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong hardware skills and previous Field Service experience is a must.
  • Previous experience with POS installation / repair / maintenance of IT hardware is desired, however we can provide training
  • Experience in servicing of touch screens, thermal printers, cash drawer, & eftpos devices is recommended, though for the right person can be overlooked.
  • Delivering onsite and phone support, connecting via remote tools
    •  You must be able to advise clients on how to use information technology, in order to meet their business objectives effectively and efficiently.
    • You must be able to analyse and solve various IT problems (Windows Server, Windows Desktops, and Networks). You will be required to install and troubleshoot our clients’ IT hardware and software issues.
  • User systems administration in Active Directory and Exchange
  • Desktop support tasks including SOE deployment & computer imaging
  • Have good written Communication Skills – Completing paperwork
  • Assisting with telephony administration & producing IT training materials
  • Good mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable, confident and a self starter who is able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Own Vehicle and current drivers license
  • The flexibility to rotate working hours is critical.
