This is a newly created role to help support the Data Management and Analytics team at one of the world's most renowned insurance brands.
You'll need to be able to slice and dice data with the best of them but also have the ability to interpret the data and provide recommendations i.e. identify opportunities in the market and provide recommendations to the leadership team.
A little about the role:
- Data analysis
- Statistical modelling
- Presentation of findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and analyse data to support both the decisions and execution of business strategies (Platform performance, Underwriting and Portfolio Analysis and Broker statistics, etc)
- Project management of analytical projects
- Ad hoc tasks (including work with IT projects)
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the profiling, cleansing and transformation of customer data sets in a relational database environment.
A little about you:
- Sound SQL experience
- Excellent understanding of Tableau
- Tertiary degree in actuarial, statistics or maths
- Expert in MS Excel
- Proficient with data blending tools
- MS Office skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
