iCetana is a world leader in using machine learning for video surveillance and is currently seeking a standout individual to join the software development team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily Scrum activities
• Contribute to architecture design decisions
• Deliver high quality, tested code and integrate into our code base
• Contribute to front end design, through working with UI/UX designer.

Experience / Expertise

• Ability to create and manage docker containers to automate deployment across multiple servers and platforms including AWS and local servers.

• Experience architecting and deploying enterprise Ubuntu Linux environments and webserver configurations including NGIX and Apache.

• Expert knowledge of Django including REST framework, database migrations and authentication.

• Expertise in managing MySQL and Postgress databases in enterprise environments, including containerisation.

• Expert understanding and experience integrating modern web-authentication using Django, Javascript and external identity servers.

• Experience developing applications JavaScript ES6+, React.js, JQuery, Bootstrap 3+ and other modern Javascript frameworks for mobile and AWS.

• Familiarity with video streaming and playback within web-based applications and mobile devices.

• Experience configuration of CI/CD for development, test and production environments using Jenkins to create tailored deployment process that integrate of GIThub with a Jenkins Pipeline to Containers.

• Knowledge of network security, server virtualisation.

• Significant and relevant industry experience in developing responsive web applications.

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript expert.

• Experience with ReactJS/Angular/Node.

• Knowledge of testing solutions e.g. Selenium.

• Working knowledge of distributed version control, e.g. Git.

• Solid understanding of RESTful web services and a working knowledge of JSON.

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web-based products.

• Formal certifications current / recent in Linux, MCSE, CCNE all would be well regarded.
