You will understand current issues, pain points and opportunities to leverage technology to improve. You will also coordinate and share ideas and ensure alignment within Supply Chain for any recommendation.
The role must also develop strong working relationships with internal support services in IT and Finance to ensure alignment behind strategy and recommendations and will be a central coordination point between Supply Chain, IT, and Brand stakeholders.
About the role and what a normal day involves
- Accountable for the development of the Supply Chain technology roadmap
- Develop a 5 year technology roadmap
- Map technology improvements and development roadmap to overall Supply Chain strategy
- Involve stakeholders in requirements gathering and decision making to ensure alignment behind roadmap
- Generate supporting documentation and case for change
- Develop required business cases to support roadmap rollout including all financial metrics (costs & benefits)
- Work with internal commercial managers to support business case sign off
You will bring
- Experience in a Supply Chain, IT, Operations based role with a specific focus on technology
- Experience in a technology selection and/or deployment role
- Experience in a central strategic role working across multiple stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification in related area
