Green Light is looking for a Level-3 Wintel Engineer. As a Senior Engineer you will focus on core Microsoft enterprise technologies, in particular Windows servers, Office 365 and Exchange, AD, Lync- Skype for Business.

If you are an allrounder and has been providing BAU support for large scale Microsoft based server infrastructure then this is an exciting opportunity for you.

As part of your technical experience and knowledge, you must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in Microsoft Skype for Business, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft ADFS.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all incidents and service requests are logged and resolved within agreed service levels  and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and manage items through to resolution or escalate them through to the team lead.
• Assist with high priority incidents, conduct lessons learned and participate in problem resolution.

• Collaboratively work on Multiple clients, using technology based on Microsoft Applications and Servers, This includes the operation of Lync, VMware, Exchange and Office 365
• Implementation of messaging focused solutions in complex environments – Exchange to Office 365 migrations etc
• Contribute to the development and deployment of a standard operating environment
• Resolution of technical issues involving skype for Business and Exchange
• Managing/configuring/troubleshoot O365 solution and O365 migrations.
• Providing BAU support and managing on premise, hybrid and cloud environments

 Skills and Experience looking for:-

• Extensive experience in supporting Lync / Skype for Business is essential.
• Experience in supporting Microsoft Intune
• Installing and performing changes to virtual servers and software, following design or installation specifications
• Experience with patch management and change management processes
• Experience with wider Microsoft solutions such as Office 365 and Exchange would be beneficial
• Demonstrated Wintel Engineering experience gained within a large and complex IT environment

• Microsoft Exchange 2010 and later versions including O365 (Managing/configuring/troubleshoot O365 solution)
• Microsoft Windows Servers (2008 R2/2012) including advance features such as ADFS, clustering, certificates
• Well versed in supporting Microsoft Exchange 2010 and new versions including Unified Messaging and O365 hybrid deployments.
• DNS and related network protocols as well as capability with Windows PowerShell.
• Demonstrated experience working in an ITIL enterprise environment
• Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills.
