About you
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to work on a high profile customer account? If so, this is a great opportunity to join the team at DXC.
 
To be successful in this role you will have an extensive project management background with experience working on large complex infrastructure projects. Experience working on government accounts will be highly regarded.
 
You will have demonstrable experience in managing projects to formal project management methodology (i.e. PMI, PMBoK, Prince 2), certifications will be highly regarded.  You will have a sound understanding and application of Project Management competencies including scope, time, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration. You will also have excellent business, negotiation and communication skills with a passion for delivering great customer service.
 
About the role
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Sydney CBD based team. This is initially a 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend or go permanent.
 
This role will be working on a high profile customer account and will be responsible for managing the end to end delivery of large sized infrastructure projects.
 
Specific responsibilities will include:

• Management of teams working on medium to large sized projects in a complex, multi-platform technical environment.
• Control of project design and planning activities. Defining, sourcing and managing necessary project resources.
• Controlling project schedules to ensure that necessary modules and programs are completed according to the project plan.
• Preparation of project budgets, and monitoring and reporting of project financials and the realisation of defined project benefits.
• Effectively controlling and managing the issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope.
• Stakeholder management and exceeding stakeholder expectations.
