About the role:
This position will carry primary responsibility as the technical lead in defining end to end solutions aligned to enterprise strategies, principles & standards. The solutions include applications, databases, integration & cloud services. The solution architect will also facilitate in governing supplier/partners in delivery of solutions, transition to operations, and development of support processes & material. 

What You’ll bring:

The role has a strong emphasis on business engagement, and will require a confident communicator who can get to the end solution to achieve the desired outcome. Your role will include:

• Using a solution based approach to provide technical guidance and commercial support to the relevant delivery teams, including engagement with third party vendors.
• Solving customer pain points by leveraging the most appropriate software and infrastructure architectural approaches to quickly deliver value to customers.
• Design and scope solutions leveraging Cloud, legacy applications, COTS solutions and integration layers.
• Drive the technical qualification, scoping, estimation, design and architecture of new or existing opportunities and projects working with the delivery team to ensure that they are well architected and deliverable.
• Work closely with internal teams to assist with improving delivery processes wherever possible, ensuring we continue to exceed expectations.
• Create all relevant technical documentation including high-level and detailed designs, test plans and operational acceptance documents

  About you:

  You will have extensive and demonstrated experience with solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and maturing technical environment. This role will require:

• 5+ years of solution architecture experience, with specific experience and expertise in governance of supplier design and supplier delivery of services
• Extensive knowledge and 10 years’ experience in all the following (or equivalent):

• Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager
• Citrix XenApp or Microsoft Remote Desktop
• Office 365
• Knowledge and experience in any of the following (or equivalent):
• Okta and ADFS
• SPLUNK
• SolarWinds Orion, NPM and SAM
• System Center Configuration Manager and Operations Manager
• Wide range of server and desktop platforms (Windows XP and later, Windows 2000 and
