To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking an Investment Analyst, Quantitative Equities who will be responsible for developing and maintaining internally managed quantitative strategies for our investments portfolios. Reporting to our Portfolio Manager, Systematic Equities this role represents an outstanding opportunity to support our investments teams with their internal and active management capacity, a key strategy in ensuring best outcomes for our members.
In this role, you will support fundamental active teams and external manager teams with quant analysis on risk and factor exposures. You will be responsible for building and maintaining research infrastructure including scripting experiments and archiving intermediate results. You will tasked with ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of quant equity portfolios and data management for our internal active teams and strategy and portfolio construction.
You’ll need…
To have a mathematics, engineering, science, finance or related degree. You will have strong data analysis and programming skills, excellent attention to detail and familiarity with working at the command line. Experience working in quantitative finance in a fund management environment is desirable, yet not mandatory.
