Position Summary:

Working in the Custody & Fund Services division of JPMorgan in Australia, this is a key role within the technology team, working with a team of Production Management specialists supporting both the local business in Australia and multiple Asia Pacific sites.

The Production Management team is responsible for the support and maintenance of both vendor and in-house built applications for the APAC lines of business and work closely with both technology and business support units in planning maintain the stability of the Production environment.

This role will provide a direct technology face-off to senior business leads in Australia and across Asia. For the right candidate there is an opportunity for real career progression in a business that is going through a period of growth.

Responsibilities: 

• Providing business facing technology support to the C&FS business groups across the Asia Pacific region.
  
• Manage production technology incidents to resolution, ensuring timely engagement, escalation and effective communication to business, technology and vendor partners
  
• Perform post incident analysis, identifying and implement preventative measures and lessons learned across the business
  
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation of processes and monitoring
  
• Proactively identify common root causes of issues and address to improve overall production stability
  
• Work with application vendors to schedule upgrades and enhancements
  
• Work with business and technology partners to plan and test the disaster recovery plan
  
• Act as Subject Matter Expert(SME) for key applications, responsible for maintaining global best practice and hygeine standards
  

Knowledge and Experience Required: 

• At least 3 years previous experience in Production Management within a Corporate & Investment Bank
  
• Proven record in implementation of monitoring automation and ongoing process improvement
  
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and test execution
  
• Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills
  
• Experience in maintaining a controlled technology environment, validated by auditors and regulators
  
• Understanding of key fund accounting concepts and deliverables
  
• Excellent technical knowledge including SQL (Sybase or Oracle), SWIFT messaging, Server – Wintel/Linux/UNIX, ITRS Geneos and Automation technologies
  

Formal Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
