About the Role
rt health has an opportunity for an IT Business Partner to join our Technology and Operations team. The purpose of this role is act as the primary engagement point between the business and IT to support the delivery of effective, efficient IT services to the business.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Proactively engage with the business as partner to identify the needs of the business over the short, medium and long term for technology and digital capabilities
- Involve business stakeholders in designing or enhancing IT solutions
- Develop functional specifications and translate into technical specifications
- Coordinate (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system enhancement/development
About You
We are a smaller organisation with a collaborative culture and as such this is a hands on role. You will be comfortable ‘rolling up your sleeves’ in order to perform, achieve and get the job done.
- 5 – 7 years commercial IT experience, ideally with 3 years in an IT/business partnership role
- Degree qualified in information technology or related discipline
- Technical knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure and database concepts
- Basic understanding of IT architecture, both infrastructure and applications
- Advanced knowledge of business process re-engineering
- Outstanding ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and identify appropriate technical solutions
- Strong technical documentation/interpretation skills
- Extensive knowledge of business procedures and systems
- Excellent interpersonal/negotiation/diplomacy/influencing skills
- Understanding of project management methodologies
- Enthusiastic champion of change.
