The Role

The role as a Solutions Architect is a strategic position that requires in-depth knowledge of how technology is used to enable business goals or overcome challenges. The role will align with Brennan IT's successful Sales teams to lead and execute business development plans and proposals and overall solution selling.
To be successful, you will use your Cloud, Managed Services and Communications technical expertise to conceptualise, define and develop solutions for our services portfolio, as well as collaborate with delivery teams to ensure clear and defined strategy service offerings across the mid-market sector.


Day to day responsibilities:

  • Technical, sales focused professional responsible for growing revenue across the Brennan IT portfolio
  • Provide solution designs, technical explanations and assist the sales team in winning business and driving growth
  • Provide support for business aligned technical discussions, quotations, proposals, RFIs, RFPs and knowledge transfer, and general information on IT best practices
  • Design and present tailored architecture for customers across the IT portfolio


What you will bring to the Team:

  • Successful history of result oriented business development driving new mid-market business sales as increasing existing customer base
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar IT Solutions Presales or Solutions Architect role ideally within Microsoft Infrastructure and/or Cloud Architecture and solutions, with some knowledge of Communications
  • Experience working with Cloud, IaaS and Hosting solutions including products such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365
  • Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies such as Active Directory, SQL and Exchange
  • Experience in Server and Storage hardware, DR and Backup, Cisco Meraki and Citrix
  • Proven experience and ability to provide consultative guidance combined with previous customer facing Presales and presentation experience at C level combined with ability to build future road maps.
  • Exceptional documentation skills and attention to detail (design documentation, proposals, processes and procedures).
