IT Integrity requires a talented Level 3 Support Engineer with a strong work ethic. The position provides an opportunity to enhance your experience in multiple aspects of IT support engineering. 

 

The successful candidate will be required to perform Server, Infrastructure and Network Administration and Support activities remotely and on customer sites. There may also be opportunities to work on Projects.

Key responsibilities:-

  • Provide Level 3 desktop, server, and network support remotely and on-site as required
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Advise user on appropriate action
  • Follow service desk procedures
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resources
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests, and document resolutions
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
  • Continuous development and review of service desk procedures and policies

 

Key requirements:-

  • Experience in supporting network infrastructure, including switches, routers and firewalls
  • 2 to 3 years' experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in a Level 2/3 IT Support Engineer role
  • Experience in supporting and maintaining Windows Servers / Desktops, SBS, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office 365/Azure environments.
  • Experience in supporting SAN/NAS storage infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience supporting virtualised environments
  • Ability to maintain support documentation
  • Experience working within a ticketing and timekeeping system such as AutoTask, and RMM tool such as N-Central preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer service focused
  • Self-motivated with a disciplined work ethic
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Level 3 helpdesk experience
  • Administrative discipline essential
  • Results driven, attention to detail and fast learner
  • Current drivers licence / Ability to travel to Client sites
  • Tertiary qualification in IT discipline (Uni/TAFE/College) desirable
