Ungerboeck Software is looking to hire a talented Application Support Specialist based in our Brisbane office! Job Summary:

Analyse and understand customer requests, find new approaches, and propose solutions to customers in diverse situations.

What makes a successful support specialist?

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a customer-friendly attitude, and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Technology background or strong personal interest in technology
  • Ability to troubleshoot, recreate and resourcefully solve difficult problems
  • Great communication skills that can be tailored to the client's needs
  • Bachelors degree, technical certifications, or 1 - 2 years in a technical support or business analysis environment
  • Sound understanding of network infrastructure and Windows Servers, a plus
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

What does a support specialist do?

  • Help propel our growing business and act as a key point of contact for customers, responsible for facilitating strong relationships
  • Develop and deliver solutions by identifying problems, researching answers, and providing advice and assistance accordingly
  • Take on new tasks/projects and become a highly sought after internal subject matter expert
  • Educate clients and explain features and functionality of the software application, as well as provide business process advice
  • Use outstanding customer service to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, as well as, provide installation and upgrade assistance
  • Work closely with development, implementation consultants, sales, product management, IT and quality teams to assure smooth operation and optimal usage of our software systems
