Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS/Azure)
Acting as a commercially minded but deeply technical leader, the Solutions Architect leverages the rich selection of HCL cloud offerings to deliver a complete unified transformation journey for our clients.
Comfortable as both a strategist and architect, the role totally dominates the relationship between HCL and our clients and is the authoritative owner of the complete Cloud journey. Encompassing strategic advice, architecture, roadmap creation, assessment, migration, process transformation, cloud native development and the operation of hybrid IT estates; this role represents a rare opportunity for a senior technologist to join an executive team transforming many of the world's largest organisations.
Solutions Experience (AWS/Azure)
- Architecting application designs using AWS and Azure services
- Designing end to end application and data security
- Leading the migration projects including optimizing technical reliability, stability along with improving application performance
- Designing integration with on-premise applications, cloud providers or other platforms
- Propose designs and solutions that meet operational, functional and security requirements
- Provide detailed technical design for target state infrastructure
- Application knowledge of standard web platforms, and development lifecycles
Job Description –
- Deep understanding of AWS and Azure best practices
- Knowledge and experience with AWS and Azure platforms and services like EC2, ECS, S3, Load Balancers, Route 53, VPC, Firewall, PostgreSQL, Aurora, Azure VM, Service Fabric, SQL Server, Azure DNS, ExpressRoute
- DevOps experience with at least one CM technology including: Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc.
- Ability to make recommendations and provide alternatives in real-time during planning and implementation phases
- Strong working knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services
