Our client is a well-funded tech start-up, looking to revolutionise the social media and marketing industry with their newly created platform. They have a 12-month plan to get this platform up and running to it's potential and are now on the lookout for a skilled Data Engineer to help them achieve this goal.
 
As the data Engineer, it will be your responsibility to scrape, mine and categorise (Health, fitness, mood, etc) influencers and popular social media accounts into an easy to read platform for our client. This will be done using your existing programming and data knowledge to generate these processes.

Requirements:

• Experience in s similar Data Engineer/Data Science role building dashboard solutions
• Ideally have expereince scraping data (data mining) from different web sources (social media etc, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc.)
• Exposure to visualisation/BI tools
• Proficient in low-level programming languages, Python or R.
• Ideally have a background in statistics, mathematics or physics
• Strong communication and ability to work within a team
