Sandstone Technology, a fast growing Australian Fintech, is on the lookout for an experienced Java developer who likes to problem solve and work collaboratively to join one of our product teams.
The Essentials
- 5Y+ Java development
- Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA
- Experience with various web service design and implementation (SOAP, REST)
- Strong SQL experience, knowledge with major RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with Agile development methodology (Scrum), CI/CD (Git, Jenkins)
- Familiar with at least one Java Application Server configuration and operation (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere)
- Skills in troubleshooting and problem solution
- Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification requirements
- Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines
Nice to have:
- Experience in React or Angular JS
- Experience with NoSQL or distributed database
- Experience with BigData and AI algorithm
- Experience with Solr or Elasticsearch
- Experience with Banking
- Experience with Cloud service/AWS, Docker
