The role primarily requires SAP FICO functional experience including involvement in full lifecycle implementation. There is a need for demonstrated experience in analysing and solving complex problems, to consider various options and make recommendations that could be implemented. Also a broad understanding and experience of the SAP ERP environment, including security, ABAP, data dictionary tables etc. to assist with problem-solving.

The position is for an SAP FICO support role which is both a Level 2+ support and a Level 3 development role. The Level 2+ role incorporates the resolution of assigned incidents, problems and service requests. The Level 3 support role involves configuration development work and project related activities including analysis, specification, configuration and testing as required.

Work alongside Team Leads to advise on finance system functionality and configuration within SAP software, in a number of the following areas: General Ledger; Controlling; Project & Asset Accounting; Accounts Receivable; Accounts Payable; Financial Reporting; and Public Sector Funds Management.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with SAP Finance ECC 6 system in large organisations
- SAP FICO support experience
- Experience working with Agile Methodologies
- Strong SAP ECC FICO background with extensive experience:

• New General Ledger using SAP ECC 6 system 
• Controlling
• Accounts Payable with MM integration
• Accounts Receivable, preferably with Sales and Distribution (SD) integration
• Projects and Asset Accounting including Assets Under Construction (AUC)
• Intercompany postings
• Experience with Banking Components
• Proficient in LSMW

Desirable

• Relevant SAP Certification
• Experience with Loans module for Accounts Receivable
• Experience with Public Sector Funds Management module (FM)
• Experience in HPQC
• Experience in HR integration into Finance
