Company Description
As part of the SG Digital Gaming group (a division of Scientific Games). We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our North Sydney games studio. In colloboration with our QA and Software Development teams you will be responsible for the planning, designing, documenting and delivering our game automation testing framework.
In this role you will be responsible for:

participating in all game production phases, from pre-production to post-production to comprehensively understand all facets of our games and create relevant test cases that can be automated.

helping to develop a game automated testing framework under the guidance of our lead developers

acting in a cross-functional capacity between the QA and Software Dev teams to provide a link between each function

Developing creative solutions for complex problems in limited time frames

Provide project estimations, feasibility assessments and prepare acceptance criteria

Engaging and contributing in the walkthrough of program specifications including low and high level design documents

Prepare and maintain clear documentation outlining the automation processes and the tools required to perform the automation functions
The successful applicant is required to possess the below:
-
3 years of industry quality assurance experience

Sound understanding of and experience in javascript

Exposure and knowledge of Jenkins open source, Jasmine and Selenium frameworks is highly desirable

Exposure and knowledge of SVN and GIT version control
-
Online Gaming experience a bonus

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science or similar, and relevant experience.
