We have a requirement for a Security Systems Administrator to join a professional services organisation. 

The Role:

You will be the central point of contact for security related alerts and events and 
provide technical expertise in the area of IT Security. 

The main purpose of the role is to install, manage, maintain, support and optimize the firms security solutions. This role will also include running regular vulnerability assessments and implementing technical remediation. 

Responsibilities

• Manage regular vulnerability assessments and follow up with remediation activities including planning, change requests and reporting
• Monitor, maintain and operate the firms SIEM solution and ensure alerting is in place, data collection is being performed and working with third parties as required.
• Follow change management and documentation procedures for the deployment and maintenance of systems
• Manage Application Whitelisting, Antivirus, Firewall and e-mail security solutions
• Ensure systems and processes meet the Firms Security requirements.
• Maintain awareness of the latest threats and mitigation

Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of security solution and best practices
• Hands-on Operating Systems - networking and security
• One or more development languages experience; C#, .Net, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript
