Monitor are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to assist the Project Manager for the end to end delivery of the solution from analysis through to solution implementation including all change elements.
About the program:
This program revolves around Institutional FX market. The impending introduction of MIFIDII regulations calls for highly accurate time synchronisation on trading systems which the current vendors are unlikely to meet. This provides an opportunity for a new solution which will not only solve
This role is responsible for the detailed analysis of the Co-location project, including documenting the as-is process, identification of requirements and input into solution discussions.
There will be a heavy emphasis on vendor selection requiring input into RFP; documenting non-functional requirements; issue tracking and resolution management.
Stakeholder engagement with impacted staff will be required, at the direction of the Project Manager.
Knowledge
Must:
Knowledge of project lifecycle and project methodologies, business requirements gathering, articulation and validation, test case articulation, process mapping and policy/procedural documentation is essential.
Knowledge of FX products; Market Making and Market Taking flows
Desirable:
Knowledge of the Markets business is required.
Knowledge of derivatives is preferred.
Experience
Business analysis experience essential, specifically in regulatory projects.
Experience with FX products essential.
Experience in both connectivity highly desirable
Strong experience in documenting NFR’s essential.
Process development and mapping required.
Experience working with FX Front Office stakeholders highly desirable
Key Challenges:
The current process impacts a number of areas of Corporate and Institutional Banking (C&IB), therefore understanding the business processes, pain points and engaging stakeholders will be essential.
The business has a long term strategy for the products they intend to sell but also has short term pain points that are holding back the growth of the existing products. The challenge will be to address the current and short term pain points whilst working towards delivering a solution that will meet the business requirements for years to come.
Some work will be time boxed hence the ability to come up to speed quickly is essential
