We have an opportunity for an experienced Inventory Supervisor to join GWL (Global Warehouse Logistics), GWL is responsible for the distribution of Forever New clothing.
The Role:
As an integral part of the Supply Chain and Logistics team, you will report to the DC Manager and be responsible for monitoring the flow of goods and providing support to ensure supervisory functions are completed. The position is based in our warehouse in Truganina. Specifically, you will:
- Monitor, maintain and report all product movement from receiving, dispatch to storage;
- Lead and manage the team responsible for Receiving & Dispatch;
- Identify and investigate discrepancies;
- Manage daily cycle counts and storage location checks;
- Monitor and deliver relevant KPIs;
- Review and recommend changes to systems and procedures to reduce cost;
- Manage internal and external stakeholder requirements;
About You:
- You will be a highly motivated and driven Supply Chain and Logistic professional with previous experience in Inventory
- Supervision. Additionally, you will possess:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Logistics / 3PL environment focusing on Inventory Management;
- Extensive experience in WMS systems within an RF environment – Essential;
- Proven ability of implementing change and procedures that result in business operation improvements;
- Proven team leadership experience - supervisory or management level;
- Excellent communication skills - negotiating and problem-solving skills both written and verbal;
- Strong MS Office Excel capabilities;
