About the role

Xero is currently looking for the next wave of innovative leaders to join our growing payments product team. We’re looking for leaders who love to see their teams deliver solutions to tens of thousands of users with each release, and who have the tenacity to take on the relentless pace of FinTech disruption within a supportive, outcome oriented product culture. You will be responsible for the development of our payments software for our global markets including; the UK, USA, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Right now our Financial Services team is looking for a talented Senior Quality Assurance Analyst with some epic automation and manual testing skills. As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in our Financial Services team, you’ll be joining one of the cornerstones of what makes Xero incredible. We work directly with the banks to implement integrations that make payments seamless for our customers.

About you

You’ll have a passion for technology and continuous improvement. You’ll enjoy a collaborative approach to software development and sharing your knowledge with others. As you’ll be driving good quality and testing practices within the development team, ideally you’ll be:

• Someone with an understanding of OOP concepts based on C#/Java.
• Able to build, maintain and enhance robust automation frameworks for complex solutions (both GUI and API layers)
• Familiar with version control systems (GIT, SVN, CVS)
• Open to use BDD for the test automation
• Keen to promote CI/CD best practices
• A resourceful, innovative and collaborative team-player
• Keen to share your knowledge with the rest of the team
• Keeping yourself up to date with the latest in quality assurance practices
• Looking to make some awesome things happen in a fast paced, highly technical environment
• Keen to mentor other members of the QA team
