Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Windows Specialist with a Cyber client assisting them with their outcomes for a 3 to 4 month period (potential to extend to 9 months). This role is with a new Cyber client that will have an ongoing Leidos support team that will work closely with them into BAU. Flexibility will be required in this new client and your input into their design and build activity will be critical, they are looking for true SME's to assist them with this activity, these SME roles are required to augment the clients development team and accelerate the delivery of their Project deliverables.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Windows subject matter expertise including Installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining computer systems, operating systems and services along with provision troubleshooting
- A very good working knowledge of Window technology include development / implementation of SCCM, Exchange, AD, GPO, Win Server 2012/2016, SQL, Win 10 desktop in a VMWare environment, Horizon.
- An understanding and knowledge of VMware technology supporting the installation, configuration and upgrade of software tools including virtualization and application discovery tool-sets, and commercial user tools
Ideally you will also have experience with the following;
- RHEL Linux (Python scripting highly regarded)
- Windows workstation and Server Operating Systems (PowerShell scripting highly regarded)
- Splunk administration
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow or other ITSM tool (Administration experience in Service Now would be highly regarded)
- Security Operations Center experience (highly regarded)
Due to the nature of the role we require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 security clearance.
