The Job Role

The requirement is for a reporting technical expert who will assist the development of system requirements, technical design and then coding and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft Power BI to work with other legacy systems and applications.
 
The technical specialist should also have a working knowledge of other reporting and analytical platforms.

Skillsets requirements

• Work with business and ICT stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
• Evaluate existing technical implementations to understand existing functionality.
• Configure the Microsoft 2013 and 2016 Project Management stack (MPS, Microsoft Project Professional, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Project Web App) to meet DHS’s requirements.
• Have a working knowledge of related platforms (e.g. SRSS, Azure, etc).
• Ability to integrate MPS with other systems via standards-based APIs.
• Develop and document detailed technical designs in the form of technical specifications.
