Leading financial services client in St Leonards is seeking the services of a skilled and talented IT Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership to their business. The position will have oversight over infrastructure, applications and workplace. 

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

 

• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT operations.
• Overseeing delivery of major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
• Oversee the overall efficiency and working of the IT and Business Efficiency team whilst ensuring the adherence to policy
• Able to effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to peers and colleagues
• Oversee change initiatives and improvements
• Manage relationships with 3rd party software providers and external IT Service Providers
• ManagementManaging all the technology services including network, application hosting services, workplaces provision, application support and maintenance, project work and improvement of infrastructure, systems and processes
• Infrastructure and Support Strategy
• Infrastructure and Support Team Leadership
• Stakeholder Communication
• Building Services Management
• Project Management
• Help Desk Performance Management

 

Key Selection Criteria:

 

• Professional qualifications such as ITIL v2, or v3 Foundation is preferred
• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology preferred
• Proven experience in an IT support environment essential
• Fantastic Stakeholder engagement experience
