About Reclink Australia

Reclink Australia is a national not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to provide and promote sport and art programs for people experiencing disadvantage. We target some of the communities most vulnerable and isolated people, including people experiencing significant mental health challenges, disability, homelessness, substance abuse, culturally and linguistic diverse communities, correctional services and economic hardship. With over 270 member organisations nationally [75 member organisations in Victoria], we currently provide over 100,000 participant opportunities throughout Australia annually.

Operated by Reclink Australia, Access for All Abilities (AAA Play) provides Australia's only first-point-of call service connecting people with a disability to sports and recreational opportunities in Victoria.

Position overview

Working closely with the AAA Manager, the Web Development Officer will be responsible for the further development and maintenance of the AAA Play website (www.aaavic.org.au) and for driving the AAA Play social media platforms in order to increase our impact in the community.

About you

You are an expert in the Drupal CMS

You're an honest and open communicator.

You're sociable; comfortable working in a team and open plan space, as well as occasionally representing the brand through face to face and phone engagement.

You like to think strategically and be proactive to identify and present solutions to problems that ensure our online platforms offer maximum engagement opportunities.

You've got your finger on the pulse; You brainstorm creative ways to leverage existing and new features and functionality, research Internet concepts, technologies and industry trends.

You have solid experience using Drupal CMS and are comfortable with being responsible for the front-end web design including design, layout, usability, coding, and the day-to-day maintenance.

You're analytical; you work well with numbers and graphs that demonstrate your online achievements and you know where to get the information and how to interpret it.

You can do cool stuff to manage and improve digital performance; What's you're super power? Social media, content creation, CX, KW or SEO? Sell yourself!

You know our industry; You've worked in the community sector, for a not-for-profit or have experience with people with disabilities.

Mandatory Requirements

A Working with Children Check and National Police check is mandatory

A current Victorian drivers license with own car

2. New information recommending changes to the function of websites has been released to improve industry best practice. We want to update our website to incorporate these recommendations. Can you provide a real life experience you've had doing this or something similar. What did you do from a technical capability and what was the result?
