Technical Business Analyst – Insurance Products | Fixed Term Contract| Sydney

Due to an exciting, nationwide project, we are searching for a passionate Technical Business Analyst to support a large systems migration. The role of a Business Analyst is to evaluate and interpret client, risk and policy-related data from our current system and define the requirements, setup and validation of Insurance products in the new system.

Key responsibilities will include:
 

• Business analysis, business process and product setup design
• Liaising with business users and subject matter experts to validate product requirements
• Quality control, data integrity and ensuring consistency in product design and data structure
• Reviewing feedback from the business and facilitating business signoff
• Testing product setup by determining and testing business scenarios for each product
• Tracking changes and reporting regular status updates of progress

About you:

You should have prior business analysis experience in the General Insurance/ Broking industry. Required key skills will include:
 

• Ideally at least 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong understanding of the technical components of an Insurance product
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrated aptitude to learn new tools and concepts quickly
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and stakeholder management skills skills
• Results and outcomes-focused with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience with Microsoft products and XML and SQL experience
• Excellent analytical and logical reasoning abilities
