This is an opportunity for you to secure an IT Security Analyst role with a well known, high profile client.
You will be the point of escalation and implementation for any Cyber Security issues / tickets and will be responsible for Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.
This encompasses but is not limited to:
- Evaluating systems to assure they are built to satisfy both functional and security requirements.
- Prepare threat and risk assessments for system introductions and system changes.
- Evaluate and communicate information security requirements in order to inform all stakeholders with enough understanding to maintain overall enterprise security standards.
- Manage the IT security operations toolset consisting of, but not limited to, Splunk, Qualys, Trustwave gateway/messaging, Zscaler, WAF, PKI adminstration, firewall administration (checkpoint & Cisco ASA), Security incident management and PCI DLP.
- Establish ongoing reporting to ensure security vulnerabilities are identified and remedied.
Typical qualification level
You'll need evidence of your industry qualifications.
Typical certifications would be:
- Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
- Security qualification/certification form ISC2 | SANS | ISACA, etc…
Essential Personal Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent understanding of networking
- Obvious teamwork and leadership ability
- An understanding of how to operate as a professional contracted engineer
