We're a Newcastle-based technology company providing software (SaaS) to the transport industry. The industry in general is tight-knit with extensive established networks, so we're wanting someone who's great at maintaining and building upon long term client relationships,
The Role
This is a front-line entry level role to existing and potential clients. We're a close-knit team so your knowledge and skills will grow rapidly. Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Gain a deep understanding of our service and how it works.
- Respond to phone and email enquiries to provide both proactive and reactive level 1 technical support.
- Assist in creating and maintaining procedural and support documentation as you grow in your knowledge of the product.
Every area of the company is growing so you will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities based on your passions and abilities. Areas might include on-boarding implementation and integration, higher level technical support, or other more technical areas.
To be successful you would have:
- A passion and natural aptitude for IT and technology backed up by advanced skills.
- Excellent communication skills with an engaging and professional phone manner.
- Ability to think and act methodically and logically to troubleshoot both simple and complex process problems.
- Excellent written and spoken English with accurate typing skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn new concepts and processes.
- A relevant TAFE or University IT qualification.
