FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
FinXL are looking to engage an Infrastructure Project Manager for business and consulting services for one of our large corporate Telecommunication clients on a contractual basis. The role will be based in Melbourne and will be onsite for our client. Previous experience in telecommunication organisations and / or large corporate organisations is a must for this position.
The successful candidate will have worked on numerous successful infrastructure projects for large/medium telecommunication companies.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of Carriage, WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi technologies - mandatory
• Knowledge of Cloud & Firewall technologies
• Knowledge of Contact Centre technologies
• High degree of stakeholder management experience – Executive Level reporting and Communication Skills and experience
• Matrixed project environment – shared resources, onshore/offshore & external vendor delivery
• Align the project with the goals and objectives of the business.
• Conduct project planning and identify milestones.
• Define an appropriately detailed integrated project plan for cost, time and quality for the agreed scope.
• Optimise resource allocations to maximise performance.
• Define and manage dependencies of the project with other on-going initiatives.
Experience:
• Medium to large projects will be Carriage, WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet links, VoIP (SIP), WIP and VPN (4G)
• Project size from 50 to 150+ sites (medium to large)
• Experience with Carriage Only projects (i.e. delivery of data & voice links)
• Experience with more complex projects include Security (onsite or cloud based), managed firewall services, Skype for Business (SFBaaS), hosted storage, cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure), Data Centre and hosted DC
• Experience with Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS), Unified Comms (UCaaS), Video conferencing, Collaboration (Cisco), other contact centre technologies desirable
• Must be able to coordinate resources to manage site cutovers (out of business hours) and available for escalations
• Experience with MS project Server environment.
• PMBOK methodology
• Experience with SAP for project financials is highly desirable but not mandatory.
