Located near the Castle Hill area is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Mobile Phone Technician to step into a training role.

 

The Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director some of your key duties will include:

  • The planning, organising and executing of device repair training to Retailers and internal teams Nationally
  • Developing and creating relevant training materials, assess local training needs, coordinate a training plan (in conjunction with company direction and objectives) and execute the agreed plan
  • Ability to impart the knowledge and skillset around the repairs of mobile phones and smart devices from basic repairs to high level work
  • Conducting training in store or at training events
  • Management of existing accounts
  • Development of new business
  • Ongoing awareness and knowledge of devices and repairs
  • Ability to learn new technologies and processes as required
  • Sales of related accessories into retail stores
  • Determining solutions for different customers

 

The Candidate:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:

  • For us – the ideal candidate is someone who has either worked for a major brand in technical support or at a retail repair kiosk. You have done your time and now you would like to move back into a more commercial environment, looking after a portfolio of retail customers who need your advice and support for new screen installations, overheating and other issues
  • Exceptional communication skills – you’re the type of person who is articulate and has the natural ability to engage people. You will be training your client base so you need to be able to deliver the training in a manner that is relatable and easy to retain. You can comfortably work within a group training environment or in a one on one situation
  • Sales and customer service experience – This role is focused on building relationships while providing support and potentially upselling products in the process
  • Ability to travel – This will be an office based role however travel will be required across Australia and potentially overseas to conduct training sessions

 

This is an awesome opportunity providing technical support and training for clients within Australia, New Zealand and abroad.  

You will become a valuable member of the team and work closely with the Managing Director to provide a superior service to your clients. It will be a great mix of technical knowledge, training and product management.

It's a tricky role for us as we are looking for the technical experience, yet someone who is looking to work within a more professional environment where they still have daily customer interaction. You might work in a retail store or hold an Area Manager position and would like to stop working traditional retail hours and secure a 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday role.
