About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Team Leader at Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV). Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this role will drive the BI program and lead a newly established BI team, providing leadership to the team and advice to the DHSV. Possessing solid technical expertise, this senior leadership role will also manage business plans, budgeting and resource allocation. The position is required to define the BI strategic roadmap, expanding the services offered with the overarching aim of progressing BI maturity for the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ongoing business and technical management of the BI platform development, day to day operations and service improvement.
• Responsible for the data, information management and governance framework.
• Accountable for growth in business intelligence user adoption rate, high perceived value as measured by user satisfaction surveys, and ability to decommission legacy BI systems for productivity gains.
• Developing and leading a BI team capable of servicing the strategic needs of DHSV through a defined service model framework.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Business Intelligence and Data analytics.
• Minimum 3 years’ in a senior BI role in addition to leadership experience in healthcare.
• Must have expert skills / knowledge in Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies - (SQL Server / T-SQL / SSIS / SSRS / SSAS / Power BI.
