Located near the Castle Hill area is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Phone Technician.
The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director some of your key duties will include:
- Providing technical support for mobile phone repairers installing new screens
- Assist with installation, troubleshooting and the repair of mobile phones
- Management of the inhouse central repair hub where clients can call or attend to discuss product issues
- Monitoring current trends and assist with the selection of parts, screens and accessories purchased by the business for resale
- Management of all orders ensuring that they are dispatched within timeframes
- Assisting with the creation of online tutorials and troubleshooting guides
- Assisting with website updates and requirements
- Any ad-hoc duties as required
The Candidate:
To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:
- For us – the ideal candidate is someone who has either worked for a major brand in technical support or at a retail repair kiosk. You have done your time and now you would like to move back into more of a commercial environment, looking after a portfolio of retail customers who need your advice and support for new screen installations, overheating and other issues
- Exceptional communication skills – you’re the type of person who is articulate and has the natural ability to engage people
- Sales and customer service experience – This role is focused on building relationships while providing support and potentially upselling products in the process
- Ability to travel – This role will be office based however travel may be required to assist with training sessions
This is an awesome opportunity for an experienced technician who may be looking to move out of a retail store and into a commercial business environment where you still have daily customer interaction. You might work in a retail kiosk where you are troubleshooting and repairing and now you would like to stop working traditional retail hours and secure a 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday role.
